Junior Olympic Program - Gymnastics
As of July 1, 2015 Canada has adopted the JO Program developed in the USA for use in the Provinces and Territories. The Junior Olympic program was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. The program allows the gymnast to advance at her own pace, competing in more than one level in a year, if she so chooses.
Within this program, you daughter will be introduced to the 4 elements of Woman's gymnastics (WAG)
Within each of these elements there are specific developmental landmarks the athlete needs to achieve prior to competing.
Our goal is to create a well rounded, strong, confident, determined athlete. If they choose, they are able to move on to competition, however it is not mandatory.
Summer training minimum 2 day requirement:
3:30-5:30pm - Monday-Friday
Training runs Monday - Friday. Minimum 3 days of training is required beginning Fall 2019.
3:15-5:00 - Ages 5-7
5:00-7:00 - Ages 8-13
September - June commitment is required.
3 days / week = $48 + GST/week
4 days / week = $64 + GST/week
5 days / week = $80 + GST/week
